Keep Your Employer And Lecturers Informed

Communicating your schedule with them helps them to know the responsibilities they will assign to you and how to help you manage your tasks if you become overwhelmed or find yourself with tight deadlines.

Know Your Limitations

It is natural to have a rush of energy when you set out to accomplish new goals, but it is also important to handle tasks within your capacity. Overstretching yourself can cause fatigue, and fatigue can negatively affect your job and academic performance.

Genuinely ask yourself how much work you can cope with and again prioritize and decide what you need to do first.

Prioritize Your Responsibilities

Rest and Eat Well

Juggling your work and study schedule will cause you to stress out often. Try to get enough rest and prioritize your health. Do not ignore it or regard it as less important.

Your health is as important as getting your degrees and financial freedom. Remaining healthy both mentally and physically is key to achieving success in both areas.

Eating fast food and getting only a few hours of sleep isn’t a good way to manage all the tasks you have at hand.

Ensure you eat healthy, exercise, and care about your body. It means that you need to listen to yourself and react properly when you notice any symptoms or changes.

Sleep at least a minimum of 7-8 hours, or at least try to. This will help boost your immune system, relax your mind and also cope with stress. 

Considering the stress involved with studying and working at the same time, it is important you understand the motivation behind taking this action.

When you feel overwhelmed, it is okay to take a step back and reevaluate your capacity to handle both but also remind yourself why you are making the sacrifices in the first place, focus on your vision and celebrate every accomplishment you make in every phase of the journey.
